Instantaneous water heaters are very energy efficient since they only consume energy when they are used. The Hyco Rho is a mains pressure instantaneous inline water heater. It is ideal for undersink mounting or where space is at a premium and is designed for handwashing applications at a single sink.

Heating Element - Bare-wire heating system (3 nickel chrome heating elements) for fast response
Controls - Turn on the heater using the power on/off centre button on the front of the unit. The heater will automatically begin heating when it detects a flow rate greater than 2.0 l/m. Temperature can be adjusted by the user using the temperature control buttons (+/-) on the front of the unit . The temperature display will flash if the set temperature cannot be reached.

Installation
This appliance must be installed in a frost free environment. The heater should be located as close as practical to the hot water outlet in order to avoid unnecessary heat losses through the pipework.

Take into account that the incoming water supply temperature will be lower in the winter than summer.
The incoming water temperature can fluctuate dependent on time of year in the UK. Winter may result in incoming temperatures below 10°C, whereas summer water temperatures can be upwards of 15°C. It is imperative this is taken into account. Please see graphs within the photos.
