The PIR1 is designed to work with any Consort Claudgen heater up to 3 kW, offering the added benefit of potential energy savings and improved comfort. Once activated from up to 5 metres the controller allows the heater to increase the room temperature to its designated comfort setting of between 19°C to 25°C. If no movement is detected by a predetermined time of between 30 minutes to 3 hours the heater is either switched off or the temperature can be held at a lower background level of between 6°C - 17°C.
