All transaction information is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the tranasction processing servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Encryption and Data Storage
All sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data is extremely secure and is subject to regular audits by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
Links to banks
This is achieved through multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.
Employee access
No individuals are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Your transaction information and customer card information is secure even from our own employees because our systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.

Nature of Data Held
When you place an order we need to know your name and other information such as your postal address, e-mail address, telephone number etc. Aquahot gathers this information to allow us to process your order. The relevant information is to provide you with the service you have requested and to communicate with you on any matter relating to the provision of the service in general. Credit card transactions are processed by Protx, the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the UK which has achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI). Protx acts as a 'payment gateway' between Aquahot and all the major UK aquiring banks and is able to advise Aquahot whether a credit card transaction has been accepted or rejected by the card holders bank. At no time are credit card details (card number, expiry date, issue number etc) seen by, captured by or passed to Aquahot. Aquahot cannot make further charges against a credit card even if requested by a customer to do so, for example to place a repeat order.
Will I be Contacted for Marketing Purposes?
Aquahot will only contact you when requested to do so, for example to provide technical or commercial information relating to products, after-sales support, account queries etc. Aquahot does not sell or otherwise pass-on customer contact information to third parties, nor does it forward unsolicited information to Aquahot customers on behalf of third parties.
